Day 6 - Should schools offer fast food options like McDonald’s or Taco Bell?

Child obesity is a major problem in America. Schools have tried very hard in giving healthy options to lower the rates in overweight teens and children. However, many schools have noticed that the food the schools give is somewhat not perfect. Adding things like Taco Bell or Mcdonalds can make this even worse. This can cause many higher rates in overweight children, less motivation in class, and debates from parents.

  1. Not only can food of any type fill you to stay focused, it is surely not the decision of others to tell what one individual should eat. Let the students of any school decide for themselves. Not only is it out most rude to even think of controlling what they eat, its annoying. I myself am a 16 year old in high school and even I think that what your saying is completely unjust and makes me sick to my stomach. We eat what we want, you eat what you want. There is no vote, there is no majority rules. It is not your choice what we eat neither is it anyone else's.

    1. I agree 100 percent. We are old enough to decide what to eat. If you choose to eat McDonald's, oh fricken well, IT'S FOOD. We need food to survive

  5. but there is a pro to this situation... schools would make alot of money for saling mcdonalds or taco bell at school cause face it alot of people dont care about there health so they would buy alot of mcdonalds almost everyday cause they enjoy it... but yea and they do decide on what they eat we have no control on what they eat. like my mom used to tell me you are what you eat lmao.
